Hey Wraps! Man, it has been a while, a lot more than just a while, since I wrote an entry on Wraps-AllGrownUp.
Let's keep in check with our blog name - Are we truly the All Grown Up Wraps? Half of Wraps (Aifah and Nurul) have been working as full time nurses since 19 April while in a few hours time I (Khad) will be going to training for 6 months, on my way to becoming a part of the law enforcement and Azu is still on the way to finding her career path, no pressure. Seriously, careers are a long term commitment and do take your time finding the suitable one for you and work hard on it (this is advice for those who are thinking of working, if you are, good for you, it's nothing wrong to have the earning power at a tender age, I'm 19 and I already have a job! ;) )

Wraps + Pet, I've had so much fun with you guys (as usual) at our hot spot at BK Ion. Though you nurses came ahem later by umm 1 and a half hours, but it's fine. Ahh, the 'perks' of working.. You get to use the 'work' excuse for coming late to meeting your friends.. Haha ok I was just kidding. But really, I see ourselves in the future having to make plans to meet like maybe months before since we're all gonna be working people. Hmm.
So after lunch/dinner, we walked to Cornery where Aifah wanted to purchase some
popcorn which were out of this world (bubble gum? White cheese? Butterscotch???) and then we walked around Orchard for a bit before hopping on 171 to... The Helix where we camwhored to the crap's max.
Before that, i'd like to include the joke we had today, the one about well, we-know-who and Zimbabwe and Woodlands. Like what Nurul cleverly mentioned, we go to Zimbabwe through Woodlands??!! Hahaha.
Ok sorry for digressing, back on track now. So The Helix, was structured in a way so that it looks like DNA. And Pet helpfully mentioned that The Helix means DNA. Cheh.. It was a no wonder moment there. Haha. Oh and we found out the hard way that it's not really stable since it shook! What kind of bridge shakes?
So anyway, we took a walk to.. None other than the Marina Bay Sands. Personally, i like to call it "The Land Of Dreams". No, really. People have actually won millions of dollars there. Dude..
It was ok, I can see what's the fuss about. The buildings were spectacular, casinos don't allow people below 21, meh, we used the toilets, to me it was just so-so. I mentioned that Northpoint's ones are better (no, really) and the airport ones are cleaner, ok the cleanest, no contender against airport ok. The "Shoppes" had the "river" inside, yes, real flowing water with boat and all a la Venice but didn't seem to be functioning but well, we didn't really get to bask in the awesomeness of Marina Bay Sands Shoppes since we were all dead tired and lazy from the walking and our exercise called camwhoring. Haha. We took off, yesss, walking back to the bus stop, near the Esplanade where we bade farewell to Pet (we already parted with Nurul at Marina Bay Sands, Anep picked her up, good boy) while the survivors of the remaining Wraps walked to City Hall.
By this time, I thought we would have fainted from all the walking but we didn't. We snapped a few photos at the Esplanade. Beautiful skyline blah blah, love it.
Special thanks to Azu, my best friend and Aifah, my Wraps sis for taking the red line with me since I was heading to Yishun.
Wraps, since I'm taking on this career, I just know that our time together will shortened, it's inevitable. I just hope that we will still be able to keep in touch, meeting on at least a monthly basis so we can catch up on ourselves. It's been a really one hell of a ride with you crazy people for the past.. 7 years? Omg sounds like we just said handed in our Wraps application form yesterday! Hahaha.
I love you guys so much. Take care of yourselves and see you like soon-ish. <3333
